The making of a horse sign

Grace and Auntie Nancy made this beautiful sign for her horse this summer. We saw similar ones at the Marin County Fair and decided to do-it-yourself. Off to Michael's Craft store for the wood and shellac; we already had the wood burning tool, and paint. They drew, burned, painted and shellacked. Then Grace hung it by her stall at Mar Vista Stables.
Just one more week of riding this summer before school starts...early this year: August 16.Posted by Picasa
