Watching the Elephant Seals

Here are Grace and her friend Chris on Saturday, April 21, watching the seals, and later playing in the sand dunes at Ano Nuevo State Beach.

Here are many of the elephant seals lounging on the beach at Ano Nuevo State Beach, about a 1 hour drive south of San Francisco.

Here are 3 of the elephant seal pups that we were able to get close to...but not within 25 feet!

Chris invented his own special technique.

Going home...it was an easy 3 mile round trip hike.
