Hermia

Grace's sculpture, "Hermia, from 'A Midsummer Night's dream' is part of her class project called the Tree of Romance. All of the characters were either from Midsummer or Romeo and Juliet...both plays they studied and saw this year. The sculpted figures were then attached to a tree and were on display at the San Francisco De Young Museum.Posted by Picasa

Panoramic view of San Francisco from our roof

I found this video on You Tube and immediately recognized our roof and neighbor's huge tree....and of course the view that I have been seeing for over 20 years! Since it is so short, play it again...right before you see the palm tree you will see Mt. Tamalpais in the distance.
