See Jane Lynch do Madonna in "Vogue"

Glee star Jane Lynch is thrilled Madonna loved her tribute episode, insisting the cast is "humbled and honored" they won the Queen of Pop's approval.

The pop superstar's back catalog provided the soundtrack for this week's installment of the hit TV musical, with Lynch's character, cruel cheer-leading coach Sue Sylvester, making a spoof Vogue video.

Madonna and her family were treated to a preview of the episode, and the Material Girl admitted she was a big fan of the one-off special, branding it "fantastic" and "genius."

And Lynch is relieved the star is happy with their efforts.

She says, "I heard Madonna loved it. So we're really happy. Mission accomplished! She's all over our show. We're really humbled and honored that she released a statement."

The Madonna-inspired "Glee" episode aired on Tuesday night.
