Meet Luna

We adopted Luna, a young Siberian Husky, yesterday, September 22. We got a call from Norsled (Northern California Sled Dog Rescue) early Saturday morning saying, "We think we found the perfect dog for you!" We began our full time search for our new dog on September 1, and knew the perfect one would come along...and it looks like she has. Grace has been a student of wolves, and a lover of huskies for a couple of years now, so we are thrilled to have Luna as the newest member of the family. She is approximately 10 months to one year old, and weighs 37 pounds. She will probably stay this size...just right for Grace.

Getting ready for 4th grade

The morning begins in her new pair of panda pajamas, followed by getting hair ready, and finally feeling ready to go in her new horse-patterned shirt-dress.

Grace decided to try out the clarinet as her instrument in 4th grade. She hasn't had a lesson yet, but since I used to play it (and will consider taking it up again if all goes well) I showed her how to blow. She can do it!
