The 3 Foods of Thanksgiving

Posted by PicasaWe started with dungeness crab the week before Thanksgiving. The meal: steamed crab with butter and lemon, ceasar salad, sourdough bread. Optional: new england clam chowder. Two meals of this before thanksgiving. (These are all Google images.)

Posted by PicasaThen we moved on to the tradional: roasted turkey with sage stuffing (really: old bay), mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans with almonds, cranberry relish. Two or three meals of this.

Posted by PicasaThen we made tons of noodle kugel: delicious heart attack food. There will be several meals of just this. Most will go in the freezer, to be taken out in small portions.

Thanksgiving weekend: We saw Cavalia

Fantastic show! Highly recommended! Under the Big Tent! Costs plenty!

The company is an offshoot of Cirque du Soleil...so, lots of genius acrobatic performers.
